What is Le Malt Royale?
Le Malt Royale is a private members’ club in the heart of Red Bank, created around exceptional hospitality, dining, cigars, cocktails, member programming, and a community of people who enjoy spending time well.
Members can make an evening of the club in whatever way suits them, whether that means dinner in The Parlor, sushi at The Toro, a cigar in The Saloon, cocktails with friends, or one of our member experiences.
Is Royale open to both men and women?
Absolutely. Royale welcomes members of all backgrounds who appreciate thoughtful hospitality, exceptional food and drink, and the experience of belonging to a private club.
Is Le Malt Royale open to the public?
Royale is a private members’ club.
Members are welcome to host guests in accordance with current club and event policies, giving them the opportunity to share the Royale experience with friends, family, clients, and colleagues.
What spaces are available inside Royale?
Royale offers several distinct experiences within the club.
The Saloon is our private cigar lounge.
The Parlor offers non-smoking dining in an intimate setting.
The Toro offers a refined Japanese dining and sushi experience using premium ingredients.
Members are welcome to enjoy the club according to the kind of evening they have in mind.
Can I bring guests?
Yes. Royale is very much intended to be a place where members can entertain and spend time with the people important to them.
Guest access may vary depending on the space, event, or experience, and reservations are recommended for dining. Our team is always happy to help coordinate your visit.
Are cigars permitted at Royale?
Yes. Cigars may be enjoyed in The Saloon, our dedicated cigar lounge, which features a ventilation system designed specifically for the space.
The Parlor and The Toro are non-smoking.
Are private lockers available?
Yes, subject to availability.
Members may lease private, humidified lockers crafted from 100% Spanish cedar, designed for the proper storage of cigars and select personal bottles.
Members may bring their own collection or work with the Royale team to curate one.
Can Royale help source wine or spirits?
Yes. Our team can assist members in sourcing select wines and spirits for their enjoyment at the club. If there is something particular you are looking for, simply let us know.
Does Royale host member events?
Yes, and our programming continues to evolve throughout the year.
Members can look forward to experiences such as spirit tastings, member mixers, dining experiences, seasonal programming, sporting events, and other gatherings created specifically for the Royale community.
Members also receive first access to select events and experiences.
Can I host a private event at Royale?
Yes. Members may inquire about hosting private dinners, celebrations, business gatherings, tastings, receptions, and other events within the club.
Our team can help determine which space and format works best for your occasion.
Is there a dress code?
Yes. Royale maintains an elevated casual dress code that reflects the atmosphere of the club.
We ask members and guests to arrive in polished, appropriate attire. Certain casual items may not be permitted, and our team is always happy to clarify the dress code before your visit.
How does the quarterly minimum spend work?
Each member carries a $600 quarterly minimum spend at Le Malt Royale.
The amount is placed on the membership account for eligible spending at Royale during that quarter.
For Joint and Corporate memberships, the total quarterly minimum is based on the number of participating members and the selected billing arrangement.

How much does membership cost?
