  • Yleana Almonte

    Director of Operations

    Yleana was born in the Dominican Republic where she received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. She is a hospitality expert with 15+ years of experience in the New York and New Jersey industries. She is always striving to impact someone’s day positively. Her main priority and mission are to ensure that our member’s experience is nothing short of exceptional. Always with a smile, Yleana thrives when it comes to interacting with members, making sure that they are not only happy but that Le Malt Royale continuously exceeds their expectations.

  • Chef Antonio Carballo

    Executive Chef

    Growing up in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, Chef Antonio Carballo worked his way up from washing dishes in his family restaurant, where he learned the basics of the kitchen. At the age of 18, he packed his bags and attended The Culinary Institute of America, completing a culinary externship at a Michelin restaurant in Spain. He also has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management with a concentration in Latin Cuisines. Chef Antonio proudly brings innovation, creativity and a predominantly Latin flavor to Le Malt.

  • Chef Kenny Jiang

    Executive Sushi Chef

    With 20+ years in the hospitality business, and an Asian Restaraunt under his belt, Chef Kenny received no formal training and is 100% self taught. Multi-lingual, he is fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese and English. Chef Kenny has been making magic behind the Sushi Bar at Royale for almost four years now, and is constantly working on new skills and techniques to bring our members the finest, freshest and most fantastic Gourmet Sushi.

  • Solange Vargas

    Floor Captain

    Solange studied Social Communication while working in radio and tv for over 4 years, and became a notable figure in the Media Industry. More recently, she relocated to the US and obtained a BA in Criminal Justice and a BS in Legal Interpretation and Translation at John Jay College of Criminal Justice in NYC. Solange loves working in the Hospitality Industry, with 20+ years of experience. But most of all, Solange loves working at Le Malt Royale.

  • Jennifer Fernandez

    Member Liaison

    Jennifer obtained her BS in Labor Studies and Employment Relations from Rutgers University in 2018. When in college, Jennifer managed a few restaurants, where her true passion for the hospitality and service industry grew. Prior to Le Malt, Jennifer was in charge of Human Resources for a company of 300+ employees. In her spare time, you can find her enjoying a nice glass of wine with her friends and listening to music.

  • Maria Gomez

    Steward

    Maria moved to the US 10 years ago, where she’s been working in the hospitality industry. Maria has a passion for Aeronautics, which she’s currently pursuing. In her free time, she loves to work out, read, and travel to new places. She enjoys working at Le Malt and providing outstanding service to our members.
